Reconstitution of Guntur Mandal

- Reconstitution of the Mandal Praja Parishad, Guntur by re-delimiting the residual villages of Mandal Praja  Parishad, Guntur – Notification -  Issued.

ORDER:

          In the G.Os. 1^st and  2^nd   read above, Government have denotified the ten (10) Gram Panchayats  in  Guntur District so as to include  the same into Guntur Municipal Corporation and included the same Gram Panchayats into Guntur Municipal Corporation.

 2.      The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj and Rural Employment, Hyderabad, in his letter third read above has informed that as per the report of the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Praja Parishad, Guntur the Mandal Praja Parishad Guntur was having twenty five (25) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies. After having inclusion of the ten (10) Gram Panchayats into Guntur Municipal Corporation, the Mandal Praja Parishad Guntur has lost fifteen (15) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies out of twenty five (25) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies. Therefore, he has requested to reconstitute Guntur Mandal Praja Parishad.   

3.   Government after careful consideration have decided to reconstitute the Guntur Mandal Praja Parishad with the remaining ten (10) Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies.

    

NOTIFICATION

        In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections
(1) and (3) of section 148 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Andhra Pradesh Act No. 13 of 1994), the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby reconstitute Guntur  Mandal Praja Parishad with headquarters at Guntur District with the following Mandal  Parishad Territorial Constituencies.
