and also enhance the intake capacity of DMLT Course from 20 to 30 seats per
annum – Orders – Issued
O R D E R :
In the reference 1st read above, the Chairman High Power Committee has
stated that representation received from Venkateswara Medical Education
Society, Guntur District was forwarded to the District Level Team for
verification. The Principal, Guntur Medical College, Guntur (Member Convener,
District Level Team, Guntur) has submitted inspection report stating that “Asked
for shifting from Tadepallygudem, West Godavari District to Chilakaluripet,
Guntur District as per institute adequate facilities available for the students be
considered.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Chairman High Power Committee,
Hyderabad has also informed that the Principal Guntur Medical College has
submitted inspection report stating that Based on infrastructure and clinical
facilities per annum intake of 30 students (thrity students) for DMLT Course, be
considered.
3. In the reference 3rd read above the Chairman High Power Committee,
Hyderabad has requested the Government to consider the request of the
applicant and issue necessary orders permitting to shift Venkateswara Institute
of Medical Sciences, from Tadepallygudem, West Godavari District to
Chilakalurupet, Guntur District in D.No.1-637, Old Junior College Campus, NRT
Road, Chilakaluripeta and also enhance the intake capacity of DMLT course from
20 to 30 seats per annum.
4. The Government after careful examination of the matter hereby accord
permission to shift the Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences,
Tadepallygudem, W.G. District to Chilakalurupet, Guntur District in D.No.1-637,
Old Junior College Campus, NRT Road, Chilakaluripeta and also enhance the
intake capacity of DMLT course from 20 to 30 seats per annum.
5. The Secretary, A.P. Para Medical Board, Hyderabad and the Director of
Medical Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter
accordingly.
