ORDER
Based on the report of General Administration (V&E) Department,
disciplinary proceedings have been instituted against Sri P.V. Ramalingeswar,
the then Municipal Commissioner and other of Chilakaluripeta Municipality for
the alleged irregularities in distribution
of old age pension in Chilakaluripeta Municipality vide
reference 4th
read above.
2. In the reference 5th read above, Sri P.V.
Ramalingeswar, the
then Municipal Commissioner, Chilakaluripeta Municipality
has
submitted his written statement of defence denying the
charges. In
the reference 6th read above, Government after
examination of the
explanations submitted by the charged officers and having
not
satisfied with the explanations, Sri K. Lakshmi Narayana,
Dy.
Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Guntur has been
appointed as
Enquiry Officer.
3. In the reference 7th read above, the Enquiry
Officer Sri K.
Lakshmi Narayana, Dy. Commissioner, Municipal
Corporation,
Guntur has submitted enquiry report. The Enquiry Officer
in his
enquiry report held that the charges framed against Sri
P.V.
Ramalingeswar, the then Municipal Commissioner,
Chilakaluripeta
Municipality are not proved and charges are proved
against other
charged officer.
4. In the reference 8th read above, Government after
examination of the Enquiry Report accepted the findings
of Enquiry
Officer and a copy of the enquiry report has been
communicated to
the two charged officers for their written representation
on the
findings of Enquiry Officer.
5. In the reference 9th read above, Sri P.V.
Ramalingeswar, the
then Municipal Commissioner, Chilakaluripeta Municipality
has
submitted his representation.
6. Government after examination of the matter, it has
been
decided to exonerate Sri P.V. Ramalingeswar, the then
Municipal
Commissioner, Chilakaluripeta Municipality from the
charges and to
drop further action against him.
7. Accordingly, Government hereby exonerates Sri P.V.
Ramalingeswar, the then Municipal Commissioner,
Chilakaluripeta
Municipality from the charges and drop further action
against him.
8. The Commissioner & Director of Municipal
Administration,
Hyderabad, shall take further necessary action,
accordingly.
