O R D E R

In the reference 4th read above, disciplinary proceedings have been instituted

against Sri A.Lakshmaiah, Municipal Assistant Engineer and others of Chilkalurpet

Municipality for Misplacement of voucher No. 342, dt.  24.06.1997 pertaining to drawal of  Rs.60,000/- as advance for purchase of electrical ladder in Chikalurpet Municipality.

2. Government after examining the statement of defenses and having not satisfied with the explanations, Sri C.Rama Rao, Superintending Engineer (PH), Guntur and Sri P.V.Ramalingeswara Rao, Municipal Commissioner, Chilakalurpet Municipality have been appointed as Enquiry Officer & Presenting Officer respectively vide reference 6th & 7th read above.

3. In the reference 8th read above, the Enquiry Officer Sri C.Rama Rao, Superintending Engineer (PH), Guntur & Enquiry Officer has submitted enquiry report.

4. Government, after examination of the enquiry report, have decided to impose minor penalty of “Censure” on Sri A.Lakshmaiah, the then MAE of Chilkalurpet Municipality duly recovering the interest amount of Rs.4,948/- from him.

5. Accordingly, under Rule 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (CC&A) Rules, 1991, Government hereby impose minor penalty of “Censure” on Sri A.Lakshmaiah, the then Municipal Assistant Engineer of Chilkalurpet Municipality duly recovering the interest amount of Rs.4,948/- from him.

6. The Engineer-in-Chief (PH) Hyderabad, shall take necessary action accordingly.

In the reference 4th read above, disciplinary proceedings have been instituted against S/Sri A.Srinivasa Rao, Sr.Asst, Sri G.C.Penchalaiah, Sr.Asst., J.V..R.K.Anjaneya Sarma, Sr. Asst. and Sri Haneef Mohammed, Shorff of Chilkaluripet Municipality for Misplacement of voucher No. 342, dt. 24.06.1997 pertaining to drawal of Rs.60,000/- as advance for purchase of electrical ladder in Chikaluripet Municipality.

2. Government after examining the statement of defenses and having not satisfied with the explanations, Sri C.Rama Rao, Superintending Engineer (PH), Guntur and Sri P.V.Ramalingeswara Rao, Municipal Commissioner, Chilakalurpet Municipality have been appointed as E.O. and P.O. respectively vide reference 8th & 12th read above.

3. In the reference 11th & 13th read above, the Enquiry Officer Sri C.Rama Rao, Superintending Engineer (PH), Guntur & Enquiry Officer has submitted enquiry report.

4. Government after examination of the enquiry report and explanations of Sri A.Srinivasa Rao, the then Sr.Asst, Sri G.C.Penchalaiah, the then Sr.Asst., Sri J.V..R.K.Anjaneya Sarma, the then Sr. Asst., and Sri Haneef Mohammed, the then Shorff of Chilkaluripet Municipality have decided to drop further action and exonerate from the charges against them.

5. Accordingly, Government hereby drop further action and exonerate from the charges against Sri A. Srinivasa Rao, the then Sr.Asst, Sri G.C.Penchalaiah, the then Sr.Asst.,  J. V. R. K. Anjaneya Sarma, the then Sr.Asst., and Sri Haneef

Mohammed, the then Shorff of Chilkaluripet Municipality.
